The market capitalization of cat-themed tokens broke above $6 billion in the last 24 hours after small-cap cryptos such as Mugi, LOAFCAT, and Catana all posted gains greater than 100%.

Mog Coin Leads Major Gainers

Mog Coin was the biggest gainer among the largest cat tokens by market capitalization with a 22% surge, followed by Mister Miggles (MIGGLES) with an almost 16% pump. The biggest cat-themed token, Popcat (POPCAT), with a market cap of $1.5 billion, climbed 2%.

While the cat-themed token market pumps, a younger crypto in this category called CatSlap Token is stealing the show. Indeed, its 1,683% pump is even prompting speculation that it might dethrone Popcat and become the largest cat token by market cap.

Even without a centralized exchange listing, SLAP has already managed to achieve a market cap of almost $10 million in less than 24 hours.

This impressive feat for a new meme coin could attract the attention of leading crypto exchanges such as Binance or Coinbase, who may want to facilitate the multi-million dollar trading volumes around CatSlap Token.

Given the popularity of SLAP at this early stage, developers are already trying to profit from its success by creating a fake version of the crypto on the Solana blockchain.

Best Wallet Partnership

The CatSlap team, rumored to be behind other successful meme coins, has signed a deal with fast-growing crypto wallet Best Wallet, giving the new meme coin exposure to its 60,000-strong community.
